Rick brings broad expertise in all aspects of conceiving, building, and delivering technology solutions to complex businesses from community hospitals to multi-billion dollar healthcare operations. A true healthcare visionary, Rick has been a driving force in the SMART on FHIR open application ecosystem since the beginning. As a founding member of the Healthcare Services Platform Consortium (HSPC), Rick works with national and international stakeholders to support an open application ecosystem and data interoperability in healthcare.
Ben brings extensive expertise in the clinical, legal and regulatory aspects of healthcare. He provides oversight for the development of Interopion's clinical affairs and health care strategy, as well as working with health care companies to maximize the efficacy of Interopion's EHR-integrated solutions for their unique clinical or managerial needs. Ben continues to serve on faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School where he helps lead quality improvement and population health efforts.

Nikolai brings 18 years of expertise of cutting edge technology innovation and was the engineering lead of the team that developed the SMART on FHIR and CDS Hooks platforms at Harvard Medical. In response to the growing needs of the SMART ecosystem, Nikolai founded MedAppTech (acquired by Interopion in 2017) and led the company to become a leader in medical applications technology, producing many of the most widely used SMART medical applications. Nikolai continues his work on driving healthcare innovation by solving interoperability challenges and leading the design of transformative software solutions based on community-driven standards.

Josh brings 20 years of experience in engineering, technology and business, spanning startups to enterprise. Previously he co-founded and served as CEO of OSIA Medical, a healthcare technology company focusing on patient engagement, and has served as a member of the board for PCPI®. His career includes international leadership roles, across multiple industries from aerospace to healthcare, for global organizations focusing on growth.
Travis brings over 20 years of software engineering and technical leadership. He has led many efforts within the FHIR, SMART, and CDS Hooks communities including the effort to create the SMART on FHIR reference implementation and HSPC Sandbox. He has also led the development of dozens of clinical applications and CDS services integrated with the world's largest EHRs including Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, and eClinicalWorks. Prior to his work with Interopion, he was Principal Engineer at Overstock.com, an international, billion-dollar e-commerce retailer and Lead System Designer at GE Healthcare where he led the development of a next-generation EHR.
Chris brings extensive experience in accounting, finance, and operations across the healthcare and IT industries. He has served as facility controller for one of the nation’s largest health services provider overseeing an annual facility budget of $300 million dollars as well as leading various committees focused on clinical operations, revenue cycle management, and risk management. Since then, Chris has worked as CFO at Keystone Strategy, a start-up strategy consulting firm, where he has implemented and oversaw all accounting and human resources functions through a period of monumental revenue growth.
